Market At A Glance

Foreclosures and unemployment are still hampering the San Diego region from a full real estate recovery.  Now that the federal tax credit for buyers and investors has expired, I expect increased marketing times for entry level properties, more short sales turning into REOs and continued market softness in the $600,000 and over price point.

However, lower prices and increased rents due to an increase in displaced families make for attractive opportunites for buyers and investors.
